Hospital, Safehaven for Newborns, SAFESPACE a Domestic Violence Center, FINCA.
We also support the different projects from the Florida Federation like ROCK Camp/Boggy Creek Camp, Hacienda Girls Ranch, Heifer International, Canine Companions for Independence, Special Olympics, Sew Much for Comfort.
Our goal is to work together in the spirit of friendship and service to better the quality of life in our community.
GFWC Coco Plum Woman's Club, Inc. is in District 11 of the GFWC Florida Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC Florida) and the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), which is one of the largest and oldest women's volunteer organizations in the world. We belong to the Southern Region which includes the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and Puerto Rico.
We were honored to have Officer Ralph Pagan from Miami Dade County Police Department, Cops for Kids to speak to us about the families that are homeless and want to be together with thier children. We collected many adorable Teddy Bears for him to take the families that are homeless.
